6GB RAM Galaxy S8 Plus Model Unveiled In India, Costs $1,163

Samsung had introduced the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus in India in April, and a 6GB RAM variant of the Galaxy S8 Plus has just landed as well. This variant of the device comes with 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable by the way. Other than that, this phone is completely identical to the regular Galaxy S8 Plus model, which means that it is made out of metal and glass, and that is sports really thin bezels all around, plus it has a curved display on the sides.

The regular Galaxy S8 Plus model had been announced in India with a price tag of Rs. 64,900 ($1,006), and this 6GB RAM variant comes with a Rs. 74,990 ($1,163) price tag. Those of you who are interested in getting this smartphone should know that it comes in a Midnight Black color variant only, and that it will become available across the country starting from June 9. That being said, the Galaxy S8 Plus comes with a set of on-screen buttons, while its on-screen home key also acts as a pressure sensitive button, which is quite interesting. This particular handset is fueled by the Exynos 8895 64-bit octa-core processor, and you can expand its storage up to 256GB via a microSD card, if that’s something you want to do. A 12-megapixel Dual Pixel shooter is placed on the back of the device, and an 8-megapixel camera can be found on the front side of this handset. The Galaxy S8 Plus is both water and dust resistant (IP68 rating), and it comes with Ultra High-Quality Audio Playback option. The phone packs a number of sensors, and it’s worth noting that its fingerprint scanner lies on the back. The Galaxy S8 Plus comes with a larger display than its sibling, you’re getting a 6.2-inch QHD+ (2960 x 1440) Super AMOLED Infinity display here.
