The BB&T branch on North Salisbury Blvd. was robbed Saturday morning, according to Salisbury police.

Captain Rich Kaiser with SPD said the robbery occurred around 9:30 Saturday morning, and confirmed that no injuries were reported.

The suspect, a white male with brown, buzzed hair is on the loose, police say. Kaiser said the suspect fled on foot and money has not been reported stolen from the bank at this time.

According to SPD’s Facebook page, the suspect did not reveal a weapon, but implied to having one. Police say he passed a note to bank employees.

While the main entrance was closed off as of 11 a.m., the area surrounding the bank was calm and traffic through the bank’s drive-through was steady.
