All Sainsburys stores will open on bank holiday Monday but there is not a blanket policy for the opening hours.
Closing times will vary from store to store, but many are open from 9am until 6pm.
Some smaller stores, particularly in central London, will be open from 6am until 11pm or even midnight.

Express stores will be open normal hours, while Metro, Extras and superstores will be open 9am until 6pm in England and Wales.

Asda stores are a real mixed bag on bank holiday Monday with some closing much earlier than usual and others operating their Sunday hours.
Most are opening at the same time as usual but it is certainly worth checking the individual stores here.
Opening times of Iceland stores will vary across the country as they do not have set opening hours, even on a regular working day.

The majority of Waitrose stores will be open 0900-1800 on bank holiday Monday although some open at 0800 and a few at 1000.
