Man robs Ravenswood neighborhood bank

A man robbed a bank Thursday morning in the Ravenswood neighborhood, according to the FBI.

The North Side robbery occurred about 11 a.m. at a Chase Bank branch at 5134 N. Clark St., the FBI said.

The robber was described as a white man possibly in his mid-30s, standing 5-foot-9 to 6 feet, with a thin build and medium complexion. He wore a black winter jacket, a black scarf, black pants and dark gloves.

The man should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the FBI.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Chicago office of the FBI at 312-421-6700. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to his capture.
