Masked woman robs Wentzville bank customer in drive-thru, authorities say | Law and order

A woman wielding a knife robbed a Wentzville bank customer Tuesday and ran away, police say.

The customer was making a drive-thru deposit at the Commerce Bank, at 1994 Wentzville Parkway, about 10:20 a.m. when a woman approached the vehicle and made threats with a knife, police said.

She stole an undisclosed amount of money and was was last seen running towards the Walgreens at 1993 Wentzville Parkway, according to police.

The woman is described by authorities as a white female with blonde hair worn pulled up. She wore a white bandana on her head and a red bandana covering her face, a black tank top with a red spandex shirt underneath, ripped jeans with red or pink shorts underneath and black shoes, police said. 

Authorities asked anyone with information to call Wentzville Police at 636-327-5105.
