May Bank Holiday weekend forecast will be dry as forecasters predict NO rain for 10 days

Hull might not see rain again until after the Bank Holiday Weekend, forecasters are predicting.

The Weather Channel says East Yorkshire is set for a lengthy spell of dry and bright weather, with temperatures repeatedly topping 20 degrees over the next 10 days.

If correct, it is good news for music fans off to Burton Constable for Radio One’s Big Weekend next Saturday and Sunday.

Although the start of this coming week will be mostly cloudy, the grey skies are expected to clear away to reveal a day of bright sunshine on Wednesday.

The seasonably warm weather continues for several days afterwards, reaching a high of around 23 degrees on Friday.

For the Big Weekend itself, Saturday will be sunny with temperatures around the 22 degree mark. Sunday is expected to be slightly cloudier, but just as warm.

It’s then forecasted to be slightly cooler after the Bank Holiday, with showers eventually returning on Wednesday, May 31.
