Mike Epps Stars in 21 Savages’ ”Bank Account” Video

21 Savage‘s hit single “Bank Account” now has a video to go along with it. On Friday (Nov. 10), the Atlanta rapper dropped his Matthew Swinsky-directed visuals, which play out more like a movie than a music video.

The visuals kick off with a giddy Mike Epps walking in to a bank while holding a giant teddy bear. The actor then witnesses armed men taking employees hostage and quickly turns into an action star. Taking down most of the attackers, Epps finds where everyone is being held, but just before he is able to fire a gun he picked up, 21 Savage tells him they’re shooting a video and everything is fake. The video then turns into the usual hip-hop visuals, with 21 rapping the chorus as Epps dances next to him.

In related 21 Savage news, the rapper surprised many in October when he teamed up with Offset and Metro Boomin for the unannounced project, Without WarningThe 10-track record includes features from Travis Scott and Quavo.

The Issa Album rapper also recently went platinum when his “Rockstar” collaboration with Post Malone achieved the feat. The single made it to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and also broke Apple Music’s single-week streaming record with 25 million plays. Savage also earned his own platinum record with “Bank Account,” which was certified platinum in September.
