More than 3,440 pounds of chicken breakfast sausage made by a Massachusetts food manufacturer is being recalled after an allergen was not listed on the product label.
DiLuigi Foods Inc., located in Danvers, is recalling 3,448 pounds of chicken breakfast sausage. The packages did not list soy lecithin on the product labels.
The items were shipped to Trader Joe’s locations in 13 states including Massachusetts, Maine, New York, New Hampshire and Vermont.
The recalled chicken breakfast sausages were produced and packaged between Aug. 10 and Aug. 24. The items have the establishment number “P-4398” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
There have been no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption, the USDA said.
People are urged not to eat the sausages and either throw the items away or return the sausages.
