The Opelika Police Department is searching for three suspects who are wanted in connection to a bank robbery Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 2:10 p.m., three men entered the Troy Bank & Trust, located at 2701 Frederick Road in Opelika. Armed with a gun, the suspects demanded for money and left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

No injuries were reported.

Two of the three suspects had their faces covered, but all suspects are described as black males wearing dark colored clothing.

They were last seen leaving the scene of the crime in a four-door silver Mercedes car on Frederick Road traveling west, according to investigators.

Anyone with information regarding the crime is encouraged to contact the Opelika Police Department’s Investigative Services Division at (334) 705-5220 or call the Secret Witness Hotline at (334) 745-8665.
