Report: Tornado touches down near Union; warning extended – News – GoUpstate

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning until 5:15 p.m. for central Laurens and southeastern Spartanburg counties.


The warning was issued at 4:35 p.m. by the National Weather Service in Greer.


A tornado-producing storm, confirmed by radar, was located near Laurens moving north at 30 mph, the weather service stated.


The dangerous storm will be near Woodruff around 5:10 p.m. Enoree and Cross Anchor are also in the path.
