State and local law enforcement searching for missing Dadeville girl

Law enforcement agencies in Tallapoosa County and around the state are seeking the public’s assistance locating an 11-year-old girl who went missing early this morning from Dadeville.

Victoria Skye Smith was last seen at around 4 a.m. She was wearing a purple shirt with yellow writing, black gym shorts, brown flip-flops and a headband, according to an alert issued by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. She is white and stands about 5-foot-one-inch tall, weighing about 120 pounds, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

According to WSFA, Smith was last seen in the Murphy Dam Lake area near Highway 50 and may be headed east.
